  • What is the advantage of purchasing a new home compared to used homes?

New homes have distinct advantages over pre-owned homes. Due to the advancement of technology, building materials are more durable and more effective today. Homes are more energy efficient today then they were years ago. Remember all of the appliances and HVAC systems are new and have manufacture’s warranties. Pre-owned homes just do not compare.

  • Is it more expensive to rent than buy?

There are many advantages of buying a home vs. renting. Ownership of a home brings pride and self fulfillment. You may write off your homes depreciation and property taxes, expenses etc. There are no write offs when renting a home. Additionally your home will increase its value over a period of time. Your home can be viewed as a true future investment.

  • Will you cash my deposit check?

Congratulations for purchasing your new home by Ramson Homes. Yes we will submit your check to an escrow officer and they will cash it as soon as they receive it.

  • What happens if I change my mind?

Buying a home is the biggest decision / investment a person will make in their lifetime. Our Sales Team will never pressure you into purchasing a piece of the American Dream; however, making a commitment to purchase can result in potentially defaulting on the agreement thus resulting in your deposit not being returned.

  • There are a few changes I’d like to make to my home. Can I?

Many home buyers would like to make just one or two custom changes. Unfortunately, we are not set up to make custom changes. What may appear to be a simple little change actually involves a multitude of contractors? For, example, one electrical switch involves an electrician, drywall installer, painter, a superintendent for scheduling, and more. This delays the process of building your home.

Please feel free to ask our Sales Team any additional questions you may have.
